In this hands-on workshop, you will design and create your very own hand-made mini scarf using weaving and crochet techniques. You will choose your colors and textures of yarn to weave long, rectangular panels made on a medium-sized, hand-held loom, that is yours to take home and reuse for future projects. The panels will be taken off the loom and connected with crochet (single or double crochet) to make a fiber art scarf to gift someone special or take home for personal use. All materials to design and finish your very own fiber art scarf will be provided in the kit, including a medium sized hand-held loom, crochet tools and a variety of yarns to build and assemble a personalized scarf design, with enthusiastic guidance and support from both of your instructors, Ellie and Lori. Approximate final mini scarf dimensions are 80 inches Length by 2.5 inches width.
